Women on the Web
There is still, unfortunately, a vision of web users as teenage boys (I’ve come across it) but it is slowly going away as the tools become more and more ubiquitous, as the usefulness and information online increases. It is no surprise to me to see the latest figures produced from eMarketer, showing US usage.
Other data companies out the bias in the same direction. However, usually marketing sites are designed with a far more targeted demographic, so these numbers will have no impact on them if the brand has made the decision to go online, but will have usage for anyone still not sure.
