What Happens Next with Virgin Australia
Here’s another make your own commercial, this time for Virgin Mobile Australia. They’re running a big campaign at the moment, for free calls and texts Virgin to Virgin, across phones on the network. To promote this, they’re running a contest for you to make your own ending to one of three scenarios that they have on their site, What Happens Next. Use the tools on the site to create the next 15 seconds and bring the story to a conclusion.

The prize (for the Australian based) is a road trip, with them dropping you off in Cairns and giving you money, a video camera and a phone, leaving you to make your own way back! They will also finish off the ad and show it on TV.
The contest idea is not new, but the tool they have created, (in essence to keep control of the message) is really nice, allowing for creativity within their confines.
