Two different PR approaches
I just thought I’d throw up my reaction to some PR approaches I’ve had this week. Chris from MWW sent me some emails about some Super Bowl ads his clients were doing. The emails were personalised, referred to some past contact we had and details some fun facts that I could use in some posts. On asking some questions, I got an almost immediate response.
A second from Coyne PR was impersonal, everything interesting was in a Press Release sent through as a PDF that was so gull of approved marketing speak my eyes glazed over. Although it invited me to call to ask any questions, there was nothing that made me want to do that.
I’ve written about both products but the first was definitely more fun than the second.
