Plenty More Fish Video
The Viral mail-list pointed me towards this video from plentymorefish.com
As the email says, plenty there to cause debate. Although it may not be good debate. My reading of the film is to take away that the site is perfect for finding partners for the next round of violence. Not something I want to be associated with a dating site. The site has been around since 2002 and has 5 million members, so can’t be doing that badly, so I’m surprised they’ve gone this route. Next steps for them are apparently to contact the members and ask them for ideas for the next videos - wonder what comments they will get about the current one.
The fun stuff on the site shows embedded YouTube videos, mainly showing scenes from the TV series Smack the Pony. Although I, along with many others, enjoy being able to watch TV clips on YT, I’m surprised the lawyers let them get away with it.
One last thing, take a look at the key words used for the video. Put there to capture viewers searching for such stuff and increase view count. Not really relevant though. Also, don’t seem to be working. Wonder what other tactics they are using to drive up view count?
