Permalinks for ads online
When putting up campaign sites and TV commercials, think strongly about the long term. If you are doing things to crate buzz and links to your site and content, understand that when your site goes down, all of this commentary about your brand starts to have dead links which does not reflect well on you. Put things up on permament links or on sites that are going to last longer than yours. At the very least, when you take down a site make sure the links fail gracefully by redirecting them to relevant part of your new sites.
