The issue isn’t that we need more lists, you are right, Rachel. Is it that we need more respect, recognition, resources? I don’t know. But, the fact that women are seldom taken seriously, except by other women, is why we create the lists…and the seminars and the orgs, that are for women, by women.
It’s not that we WANT to exclude men… but, since they continue to exclude us, we have to have somewhere else to turn - and we turn to each other.
