LinkedIn Blog Launch
Two months ago, LinkedIn employed Mario Sundar as a Community Evangelist. He was already an active part of the Linked in community, being a fellow member of LinkedIn Bloggers and other groups
My name is Mario Sundar, and I’ve joined LinkedIn as Community Evangelist. I’ve been working feverishly at reaching all the different communities of passionate LinkedIn users, of which Linked Bloggers is definitely an integral component. First off, I’d like to congratulate Des and Robyn for their efforts in providing much value to us users through this community. My goal is to emulate the stellar example set by Konstantin over the years. Feel free to contact me with your questions as well as feedback.
And now he’s started up the LinkedInBlog:
we’re launching our corporate blog to not only help you leverage LinkedIn more effectively but also to provide you a sounding board for all things LinkedIn. So, if you’re looking for a singular information source on LinkedIn with regular updates on upcoming product features, tips-and-tricks, and events or if you’d just like to hear about all the fun stuff associated with working at LinkedIn, you have reached the right place.
My initial reaction was ‘what took them so long’. But on investigation, i was surprised to find that I couldn’t find equivalents from many of the other social network sites. There’s no official MySpace blog, nor Friendster or Facebook. Bebo however does have one, which appears to be pretty well adopted by the community if they can get over 10k comments on a post!

Now you mention the Facebook blog, I found it quite easily. I expected it to be linked from the home page, but instead it’s from the About page. Thanks for pointing me to it.
