Kleenex Let it Out The Movie
Kleenex, one of the official sponsors of the US Olympic team, have produced a documentary about the athletes and the fans they inspire - Let it Out the Movie. It’s 40 minutes long, so not your usual ‘brand’ video, but it looks pretty good. I’m guessing it’s also on TV in the US. They’ve also got a trailer and widget, which brings you game highlights and headlines as well.
When they offer you the embed code, they also let you choose a type of site to which you may want to send the widget. Unfortunately, it asks for username and password for all of these hosted services, which is teaching bad practice to the users.
Other than that, I like what they are doing here, with behind the scenes stories and calling for your own Olympic story as well. It’s not all one way, they offer something in return.
[Just to be clear and add a disclaimer, I had something to do with the strategy behind this site]
