James Bond in The Times
You may have noticed there was a new James Bond book published this week in the UK, Devil May Care. It definitely had one of the biggest PR blitzes I’ve seen for a book, with models in boats sailing down the Thames, Lynx helicopters and Bentleys.
The Times are the newspaper partner of choice in the matter and they’ve bought you a game to play along. The game is actually to support the James Bond/Ian Fleming exhibition at the Imperial War Museum, something I have to go to. Never Question Tomorrow is a short point and click puzzle game that takes you through a couple of pretty easy rooms before letting you enter a draw for a holiday to Egypt.
The puzzles are well integrated with The Times, promoting their crossword and their Soduku, and they’re good fun, a bit different to the more usual arcade games. The media team were working with lots of strands here, as it’s a cross partner sponsored game, with support from Amex, Abercrombie and Kent and Four Seasons, I’m guessing providing the funds for the game build and the prize.
