Innocent Village Fete

Innocent, the UK fruit drink company are rolling out their events across the summer. They have previously held a festival type day in Regent’s Park but this year have gone all out with the Innocent village fete, that bastion of country life. They are putting on a huge on one in London, with lots of music and lots of traditional events:

Welly wanging, Morris dancing, duck herding, dog agility (dogs only), bicycle gymkhana, fruit and veg competition, ferret racing, cream teas, maypole dancing, coconut shy, barn dancing, tug o’war, homemade cakes, tombola, funfair rides and lick the rabbit. (OK, so we might not be doing the last one.)*

They also have a touring event in the major cities and are promoting the real local events as well. As a brand, Innocent try and do something a little different, their knitted hats for bottles being my favourite; they always try and add a charitable edge, focusing on triple bottom line as they include environmental and community success factors. A cool brand indeed.
