Innocent Trees
Via PSFK I see that Innocent continue to bring us new ways to connect with them. Back in July, they did a small promotion with Starbucks - buy a smoothie and get a tree planted for you in Africa or India. Now they are back bigger and better, with the stated target of 100,000 trees to be bought in their ‘buy one get one tree’ promotion. They explain it all on their blog, where you can also explore all the other things that the brand get up to to bring things back to the community.
So buy your smoothie, type in your code on the Innocent Tree site and send a message with the tree. Take some time to read the others as well. To promote, you can get a widget for your site, telling all how many your have bought.
Innocent is a great example of a company that uses social media consistently, in multiple ways to really give something back, instead of just for ‘advertising’. A great example for all.
