Harper Collins, IPS and Jeep
A look at some of the virals that hit my inbox this week.
Harper Collins, The Blue Zone and Capture Kate
To support the launch of a book, a strategy board game to keep you amused. Amass the highest score and win a trip to New York. Although taking a look at some of the scores, I’m not sure if this is being gamed or not. Even so, the author is pretty good.
IPS Group and Golf
To promote a recruitment company, here’s a rather sweet golf game to play - get your balls on top of the Gherkin. Not to sure the brand connection, but it’s rare you actually find one with many virals. The game is fun though.
Jeep Patriot Big Adventure
The next one up is definitely connected to the brand - a driving game for the Jeep Patriot and the Big Adventure Campaign. But I’m not bringing up because of the game (it’s another driving game I’m going to be crap at but lots of people have fun with) but because of the disclaimer you get before you play it.
Stunts, jumps and maneuvers (sic) simulated in this game should never be attempted with your vehicle in real life - some are impossible with real vehicles and all are dangerous. Always drive safely and obey all traffic laws, do not try this at home.
Dear lawyer - this is a game. However, I wonder how long it will be before they make films have disclaimers running along the bottom when stunts are being done with their product placement cars?
