Got Milk
I’m late on this but when I did start playing I thought it was lovely. It’s an interactive game for the California Milk Processing Board campaign, Got Milk called Get the Glass. They’ve made an interactive board game with dice roles and everything. You have to play to get the Adachio family to the Glass of Milk. If you get there and win, you get sent a real glass as well. I enjoyed the bit of the game I could play, but it some of the elements I can’t get to work on a Mac laptop!

The campaign won the Grand Award in the New York Festival for Innovative advertising and I can see why. It’s great fun and of extremely high quality, with milk-related information sprinkled throughout. It’s a well thought out use of a game for a ‘brand’ which ties in closely with the rest of the campaign and with the brand values without just being a gratuitous use of an advergame.
It won’t work on me though. I’ve not drunk milk on its own since I was forced to drink it at school, after it had been sitting outside for the morning. I’ve never got back into it!
