CALM - Campaign Against Living Miserably
Looking for some good tunes? CALM have released an advert calendar which gives you a new mp3 every day until Christmas, as well as introducing you to some of the work they do. The UK group, established in 2006 out of a NHS campaign, looks like it gets a lot of support for media and for work. The site seems to be pretty much on target for the age group, even if you do have to dig to findd out exactly what it is.
The Campaign Against Living Miserably is targeted at young men aged between 15-35. The campaign offers help, information and advice via a phone and web service. Anyone, regardless of age, gender or geographic location can call the line.
But together bu Catapult Digital the calendar is nicely done with a lot of great music - go see it at notanothercrapxmas.com (sound), watch the videos and download some music.
Tags: calm, musicWith 24 free and exclusive tracks from artists and bands like Sasha, James Zabeila, Taio Cruz, Newton Faulkner and Rumble Strips, along with some stunning unsigned artists. Each day you can download a new track, and go back and get tracks from previous days.
The calendar also features screensavers from cool people like Josh Cole, interviews from Creamfields with Annie Mac, New Young Pony Club, Anton Powers. And unseen footage from behind the scenes with David
Baddiel and Stephen Merchant. There are no forms to fill in, no strings attached.
