August Virals
No posts for a few days as I’ve been away at Gnomedex and got way behind with my reading and writing. To kick start the new batch, here’s one of the latest virals.
First up, more rugby. The World Cup starts in a few weeks and pubs all round town have posters advertising games they are showing. At least the Irish ones do as it seems to be focused on them. Landrover, one of the official sponsors, have released this funny little film to support the microsite. Not sure if it references rugby’s dislike of football in general or just silly players. The original seeded video, with media bought by Mindshare and seeded by DBMgrid can be found of BoreMe. Which has no embed function so here’s the YouTube version ;)
The microsite is pretty cool, with some alternative endings and some great outtakes - what happens when the Staffie grabs the ball! There’s also a competition to win tickets to the 6 nations.
