Sam’s Brasserie and Customer Relations

I’m sitting in a cafe/restaurant in Chiswick at the moment, called Sam’s Brasserie using their wifi. To use the service, you are required to give your phone number and email address, so they can later send you email/text you offers and all that stuff. Surprisingly, I couldn’t find any terms and conditions […]

English National Opera, the Mikado and Little Lists

Create your own video and load it up to YouTube is a pretty common form of contests for brands, but this one from the English National Opera is fun. The Mikado from Gilbert and Sullivan has a song called Little List which is always written afresh per staging (or even per performance) with […]

Badly Behaving Blog

Apologies if you have been trying to get to this blog and failing. The whole network has been having issues and not been well for the last few days. The tech team have been working hard to fix things and looks like they are slowly turning it around. In addition, I’m currently without […]

Hank made it to the Bud Team

I was right, the Bud Light Clydesdale and Damlmation ad was lovely and has been consistently voted Number 1 on the lists (By the way AOL, whats the point of IP restricting commercials????). I love the ad, it’s cute and fun and makes you go ahhhhh.

Valentines and Jewelry

It’s Valentine’s day next week and for jewelry.com it’s a big day. As part of their marketing push this year, they’ve gone for the tried and tested ‘let’s create some buzz and column inches with a survey’ route, asking questions of women about what they expect on the day. Unsurprisingly, the commonest answer to […]

Tiger Wishing Tree

It’s Chinese New Year this week and to celebrate it, Tiger beer have a new game out - the Tiger Wishing Tree. It’s apparently traditional to throw oranges at an ancient Banyan tree in Lam Tseun and make a wish. If the orange sticks, then your wish will come true. They’ve recreated […]

Orange M&Ms

Mars’ M&Ms have a new colour - orange. You can now buy their peanut treats in this vibrant hue. And to help promote it, they have a new advergame, built by 3rd Sense, hosted at Kontraband and being promoted by 7th Chamber.
It’s called Release the Flavour (subtitled 2 People 1 Cup) and you have […]

Videos 4 Feb

A look at the popular product based videos from last week takes me first to Pepsi, Pepsi Stuff and Justin Timberlake at number 10. A fun video with Timberlake going through all sorts of perils, pushing a new promotion to get free stuff from Pepsi. This was a Super Bowl ad.

Promoting a contest from […]

Patriots, Giants and Silverjet

Who do you think is going to win the Super Bowl on Sunday? Is it the favourite Patriots with their star quarterback Tom Brady or the New York Giants and their challenging wide receiver Plaxico Burress. If it’s the latter and you have the pleasure of flying with Silverjet and you could be receiving […]
